silly man should know you've got to breathe....

Alright, first of all, Dave Matthews Band is amazing. Even if you don't like their music on CD you should see them in concert b/c it is so incredibly different. They always mix it up and make it fun for themselves, its never the same song twice.

**~ So hows this for interesting, my dad told me this afternoon that I got the third highest score on the anatomy final of everyone who took it. This, a class I barely pass.... Mr. Wilson shared this with my father after a simple greeting, no questions about my grades, nothing. There are some smart people in that class that took that final. ~**
Thus meaning, I AM AWESOME.

I have a new found love for G. Love and The Special Sauce :)

Yeah, so I was bored, and as we all know when we get bored we look up feminest quotes.......*cough*, what can I say? I'm a freak!

Here......

"A woman can say more in a sigh than a man can say in a sermon." ~Arnold Haultain

"Whatever women do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily, this is not difficult." ~Charlotte Whitton

"Women belong in the house... and the Senate." ~Author Unknown

"Never let the hand you hold, hold you down." ~Author Unknown

"Women are the only oppressed group in our society that lives in intimate association with their opressors." ~Evelyn Cunningham

"Men are taught to apologize for their weaknesses, women for their strengths." ~Lois Wyse

"There are very few jobs that actually require a penis or vagina. All other jobs should be open to everybody." ~Florynce Kennedy

"How good does a female athlete have to be before we just call her an athlete?" ~Author Unknown

"No man is as anti-feminist as a really feminine woman." ~Frank O'Connor

"My advice to the women's clubs of America is to raise more hell and fewer dahlias." ~James McNeill Whistler

“I hope people realise that there is a brain underneath the hair and a heart underneath the boobs.”- Dolly Parton

This guy needs to die...

"[Feminism is] a socialist, anti-family, political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians." ~Pat Robertson

More scary quotes from Pat Robertson....

There is no such thing as separation of church and state in the Constitution. It is a lie of the Left and we are not going to take it anymore.
-- Pat Robertson

[Planned Parenthood] is teaching kids to fornicate, teaching people to have adultery, every kind of bestiality, homosexuality, lesbianism -- everything that the Bible condemns -- Pat Robertson

God's pattern is for men to be the leaders, both in the church and in the family... "Women should listen and learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority over them."
-- Pat Robertson

Now I'm off to Laura's birthday dinner with her parents!

I have no lid upon my head, but if I did, you could look inside and see whats on my mind...

I just spent the last minute or so trying to figure out why when I type...no letters appear....then I plugged in the keyboard.

Anyway....last night was really awesome. I love everyone who was there dearly. Natasha, thanks for Forrest Gump, I watched the 2nd DVD last night. AMAZING! I'm listening to OutKast right now. I love the tumbler too!! I really need to get this Starbucks addiction under control. Speaking of which..Thanks very much Thomi! I loved it. Also Rachel gave me that cute container full of candy and gum. Yay! I can't wait to get those pictures back. I'm taking them to Wal- Mart later.

Later today, after I watch Mad About You, my dad and I are going to the mall to shop for my mom. She wants a purse, and if we can't find the right one, she wants PJs. It shouldn't be to hard. I want to get her Broken Flowers. Shes wanted to see it forever, I think she would like it. She needs a surprise. I'm sure my dad and I will fight over buying it though. He normally buys things for her that he can take...its sad. My grandmother sent over a card for me. Hmmm...wonder what that could have in it...
I hate opening cards that obviously have checks for large sums of money in them in front of her.

I can't wait until Christmas...I enjoy that feeling before going to bed on Christmas Eve....that giddy excitement, not knowing what you may have under the tree.

Also Thea coming in on Monday. the Producers coming out!! So many good things!!

Last night I went to bed with a bad headache....this morning I woke up with one. I had a Doctors appt. this morning, so I went, and she reccomended I have bloodwork done....well I hadn't eaten this morning, so I got the bloodwork done immediatly. I had never had it done before. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. Anyway.....I've still got a major headache, so I opted not to go to school, hopefully I'm not missing anything major...

Is it wrong to love a teacher?? I find myself highly attracted to this person. I know why, but if I say it, it will totally give it away....this person holds within himself all the qualities I look for in a man. I didn't think that type of person existed, he proved me wrong. I think he is slowly rebuilding my faith in society, shocking, considering who I am, and I've only known him for a week. I hope I find a man like him. I don't think I deserve someone even close to this man, I'm not a good enough person. I'm really worried about this, b/c if I admit to myself I like him as much as I think I do, I wouldn't be able to have an intelligent conversation with him. I'd be to busy giggling and acting like a freak. I'm so weird......

I went to see March Of the Penguins with Brooke earlier, it was very sad, penguins died....I thought that was uncalled for. It was a still a well done movie.

I'm watching Forrest Gump, I love this movie so much, its been one of my favorites since I was 6 years old. I didn't understand a damn thing then, but I still loved it. As I watch it now, I'm shocked I was allowed to view it as a child, but maybe thats why I am the way I am today....its all b/c of early onset Forrest Gump. I watch this and cry.....and cry....and feel so utterly happy.

I wish I weren't so weird.

This whole Katrina situation is stressing me out. I don't know anyone down there. I've never been there. I find myself compelled to watch CNN and see just whats being done, which is NOTHING! The president did a photo op. today, I wasn't reassured and I'm sure they weren't either. He made a joke about it and did his creepy ass smirk...god I don't see how people could believe that man. (which is another reason to love the aforementioned teacher)So far, people like John Mellancamp and Dave Matthews Band have done more than our government!! This is the biggest natural disaster in US history, and we've sat on our asses!!! I want so badly to do something to help, but I have no money, and I'm not old enough to give blood. This whole situation is Fing scary, when you watch CNN and see the person in charge of FEMA, torn up over how bad it is there, you know its BAD. FEMA, an organization created for events just like this one, the man is crying in interviews. and the one country to step up and help? THE FRENCH!!!! The ones we "boycotted", WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE!? After the way we treated them, we don't deserve their help. Don't even get me started on the whole war thing either, b/c all the money and shit we are using over there, is EXACTLY what we need HERE, but now its not available to us.

I need to sleep this off...

This morning....

Thea called at 11 and woke me up...bitch! Then my mom and I went to the bank and several other places, then to the grocery store to prepare for tomorrow. I grabbed an Italian Soda on the way to Belladonna. Mom and I both got our hair cut, Rick was as crazy as ever. He went on and on about republicans, MJ, and his other customers. I love that man, hes hysterical.

My entire family is coming over tomorrow around 1...we are having a big dinner to celebrate 5 or 6 birthdays, and Susan is moving to Hawaii...so it should be busy. Lin and Erin might not come because Erin just flew back from Sweden last night. I wish I had her life. Shes so cool. Erica, Greg, Evie, and George might stop by on their way to Indiana. No promises. The hole day should be interesting, my dad is washing the carpet right now, I have to clean my room again later. I just cleaned it a few days ago. I can't keep it clean, its impossible.

Today was complete crap.

First, my dad was crazy excited about going to school, not me. It was 6:30 in the morning, at that point I'm lucky to have a pulse. When we left the house, it was sprinkling, by the time we got to the hill, it was a downpour. We waited to get out of the car thinking it would calm down, well of course it didn't and we ended up running like freaks to the English section entrance...I was drenched in seconds. I hate my teams class, the teachers nice, and I do have a few friends, but the rest are ALL druggies, and not the amusing kind, the white trash kind. I was thrilled to have Brooke in art, Crabby is as crazy as ever though. I think I'll like my english class, Mrs. Archer, I don't know anything about her, but I have high hopes. my health class could be okay, Katie is supposed to be in it. I do have a good lunch, Brooke better get her schedule changed...*cough cough*....PC was awesome, we only got like 5 kids...something like that...I think a couple will take off though. Mackenzie Stoner is one of them, I like her. I think she'll be a good addition....It was great to see everyone, summer was much to long, but thanks to the magic of LJ, most of us kept up. history blows...I seriously dislike all the kids I went to middle school with....and most of them are in there, a creepy pervert guy is in it, and the one girl I kind of know, is Ashley, and we aren't really friends, we just have friends in common....however....Miss Casey is in there, and as we all know Casey makes everything better. My math class is going to suck, an entire class full of freshman and sophomores....if only I didn't suck so badly in math. The teacher is a young woman, who has never been married, thats fine, but students always say 'mrs. sims' instead of 'miss sims'. For some reason she is pyscho about that. Freshman need to know when to shut the hell up!!!!!! the woman was already crazy about the Mrs. thing, and they have to go and interrupt everything she said or did. I'm sorry, but by high school, if you haven't figured out that interuppting class is rude...you don't need to be there. Anyway....now that I've ranted about how incredibly lame my junior year is going to be.......

**WARNING** Father rant to follow

my father is a crazy health nut....(i.e. he goes to the YMCA every morning before work, swims and works out, and does all kinds of craziness before the sun is even up!!) The man is a freak!! I need to lose like...a lot of weight...I have become quite cow like, and I know this. My father feels the urge to point this out in very non-subtle ways...my self esteem is low enough without my own father putting me down!! So hes on me about a diet and excercising every single day. I get to choose the work out....I've opted for Laura's Richard Simmons tapes (at least hes encouraging!!) For female reasons, I asked if I could skip a day, he went insane about how 'everyone has pain, and everyone thinks its worse than everyone elses! You need to suck it up' thats when the tears began. He went away, then came back a few minutes later, to yell about something else, he said he would take away Europe if I didn't do these things, I'm planning on doing them, but give me a few days! I told him he didn't have to deal with being a woman and he yelled some more about how its all excuses with me. HE CAN STICK IT!! My mom thinks hes pissy about everything too, but she won't speak up, which is really getting on my nerves. Anyway.....

now I'm stressing about this family dinner, I don't know who all is coming over, I don't know who is bringing what....and I need to clean, everyone needs to clean, and so far, I'm the only doing anything about it.

I think I have restless leg syndrome thingy, it sort of feels like evil growing pains, I hate it!! any thoughts?

I got my schedule changed this morning, what a hassle...its basicly the same as it was, but now I have health instead of astronomy, and 2nd semester I have anatomy instead of artIV, which works out just fine. I love Mr. Stinespring.

Audreys b-day celebration was fun. Met a cool foreign exchange student...from Norway, I know I'm going to slaughter her name, but its something like "Hedvig". She was really pretty....crazy european people....they are so pretty.

I miss German Anna, she was the coolest.

Most of my family has confirmed coming this Sunday for a family dinner/ birthday shin dig/ going away party. My aunt's life partner is moving to Hawaii for a year, something about her job. She said I was welcome to visit, which would be totally amazing, but the Europe trip kills that, maybe after....

I love The Phantom Of The Opera.....its awesome

Upright Citizens Brigade is the coolest show ever!! CHUMBAWUMBA!! (Brooke, I hope you get that)

In the past three days I have been to the highschool...five times. I've only needed two things....so it seems I've been up there, THREE times, I DID NOT HAVE TO BE THERE!!! Three wasted trips to the top of that dreaded and feared hill! I am very frustrated....I've been up there twice today alone...neither time did I go away with what I needed...except a little less gas in the car....and I don't want to get myself started on gas prices..................................................................................................................oh well

............................................................Have A Day!
